Andria McClellan Launches “Road to Access” Tour in Richmond
Today Norfolk Councilmember and candidate for Lieutenant Governor, Andria McClellan launched her tour of communities in Southside and South Western Virginia in Richmond. McClellan’s remarks were streamed live on Facebook and are available HERE.
“As Virginia begins to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic that has resulted in a loss of jobs, connections, and most tragically, loved ones, we must ensure that no community is left behind. Communities across Virginia are looking for a leader who understands their unique challenges,” said Andria McClellan, Candidate for Lieutenant Governor. “They are looking for a leader who will prioritize access to equitable opportunity, access to affordable health care, access to quality jobs and access to a livable planet. I am that leader.”
The “Road to Access” tour will highlight the gaps in opportunity that exist across the commonwealth in healthcare, broadband, and economic opportunity. McClellan stood along the Virginia Capital Trail, a project that shows the power of local and state partnership, and with the James River behind her, a river that has been critical to progress in Virginia for centuries.
